Shoe Plane
With Kind of Logo Does a Company Put With a Name Like "Imum Pancy"?
A Shoe Plane, of course! Shoe Plane is three people and just as fun as the
company's name. It all makes just as much sense as the name when you get down to it. Our name
is unique. So are the founders.
So we wanted to incorporate all this uniqueness into the logo. It had to be
original. We were a company founded on innovation, creativity, and the like. So
components of each of the founders' personalities were melded into Shoe Plane.
Chris wears basketball sneakers ALL THE TIME. He has many colors and "dressy" leather ones. You get the point: he is always wearing the sneakers. His kids wear them, too. Thus, the shoe.
Seth is a pilot. He flies the little planes with single engine propellers. Presto. The shoe has wings and a prop; it's a plane.
And finally, Sarah teaches art and video production to seventh and eighth graders. So the third component is the brushes, ruler, and film sticking out the opening of the shoe.
The original logo was designed and drawn by Sarah using colored pencil. Seth digitized him and dresses him up for special occasions.
